Newest Family Board Game - Catan
Have you seen the board game "Settlers of Catan"? Our friends Nathan and Rachel introduced us to it, and my kids are hooked. We borrowed it from them for two months this fall, 'til Gramma and Papa gave it to them for Christmas. It's a strategy game for older kids and adults. If your kids like strategy and they have a good attention span, you should check out this game. Beware - you might get hooked!

Hi there, Ann! (I am visiting from Inspired Blogging) Our family loves board games! Some of our favorites are Scrabble, Munchkin, Cashflow and SkipBo!!
We haven't tried Catan yet, but may have to give it a try!
I love board games and cant wait to have kids so I can play with them!
We love to play games with family, especially Balderdash and Pictionary for special occasions. We also have ongoing Scrabbles matches.
Thanks for sharing ladies! I've never heard of Munchkin - I'll have to check it out. I just looked at our Cashflow game last week, and wondered when it would be appropriate to teach our kids. I haven't played Balderdash in years, but we should definitely pull that out! ann :)
