"99 Stories from the Bible" by Juliet David

I just finished reading 99 Stories from the Bible by Juliet David. It's a great Bible story book for preschoolers or young readers.  We gave a copy of it to our first grader for Christmas.

The publisher describes it this way:  "Following the narrative of the Bible, this collection of 99 stories starts with At the Beginning, and covers a wide variety of key events, including Samuel Listens, Esther, A Blind Man Sees, and Jesus Walks on the Lake, through to One Day Jesus Will Return. Each story is told over a double page spread with vibrant illustrations and some full page art."

The bright pictures bring the stories to life.  The clear language makes stories easy for children to understand and imagine.  There are many more stories than a typical book of Bible stories.

This is a great tool for families to use to study God's word together.  It's also a great book for adults to use to get a big picture view of the Bible.

I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
