Being a mom is the hardest thing I've ever done, but it has brought me so much joy! I want to encourage other moms on their journey, I'll share motherhood tricks, spotlight tips I've learned from friends, and I hope you will share your ideas. I will focus on secrets that help families stay balanced, healthy, frugal, creative, and closely knit. I will also share favorite fiction and nonfiction books that I have enjoyed. Ann Saylor is a nationally recognized speaker and author in the youth and community development field. She has coached and trained numerous youth-serving agencies and schools on developing and empowering youth leaders, team building, service-learning, program strategies, and youth development best practices. She has published 5 books – “Great Group Games: 175 Boredom-Busting, Zero-Prep Team Builders for All Ages” and “Ready to Go Service Projects: 140 Ways for Youth Groups to Lend a Hand”. "Building Character from the Start:201 Activities to Foster Creativity, Literacy and Play in K-3”, "Great Group Games for Kids: 150 Meaningful Activities for Any Setting", and "Get Things Going". She has a passion for empowering youth to succeed and sustaining professionals in the youth development field. Ann and her husband have three children, ages 9, 6, and 4.

Teaching children to give back and help the community is one of the greatest gifts you can give your child. It can be something as simple as helping an elderly neighbor rake their lawn, anything that changes the attitude that life is all about 'them'. Children learn by example and seeing their parents working alongside them reinforces the message.
