MommySecrets

Being a mom is the hardest thing I've ever done, but it has brought me so much joy! I want to encourage other moms on their journey, I'll share motherhood tricks, spotlight tips I've learned from friends, and I hope you will share your ideas. I will focus on secrets that help families stay balanced, healthy, frugal, creative, and closely knit. I will also share favorite fiction and nonfiction books that I have enjoyed. Many blessings to you on your mothering journey!

"Playing the Part" by Jen Turano

This week, I have been reading Playing the Part by Jen Turano. It's a Whimsical novel about an actress and her adventures in and around New York City in 1882. With a little bit of suspense, a little bit of romance, and a little bit of humor, it's the perfect book to read and relax after a hard day at work. There are also  conversations about  hair, royalty, family, faith, and ambition. It's clean, so I would recommend this for any female reader age 14 and older.   I would also recommend Turano's other books, as I have enjoyed every one that I've read!

Playing the Part is the third book in the A Class of Their Own series, but each book also stands on its own.

I received this book as a gift from the publisher, in exchange for my honest review.
